Contractor Digital Marketing Agency — a DBA of MAV Marketing, LLC
Last Updated: October 17, 2026

1. Introduction

Contractor Digital Marketing Agency ("we," "us," or "our"), a DBA of MAV Marketing, LLC, operates the website contractordma.com (the "Site") and provides digital marketing services to businesses in the home services industry — including roofing, landscaping, painting, gutters, windows, doors, garage doors, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC companies (our "Clients").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in two contexts: (1) when you visit our Site as a prospective or current Client, and (2) when we manage marketing, CRM, or lead-generation systems on behalf of a Client, which may involve data belonging to that Client's own customers or leads ("End Consumers").

This Privacy Policy works together with our Terms of Service. For Clients, our Master Services Agreement and any Statement of Work also govern how we handle Client data. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with a Client’s signed agreement, the signed agreement controls for that Client.

2. Information We Collect

From Site visitors and prospective Clients:

  • Name, business name, email, phone number, trade/industry, and service area
  • Details submitted through quote requests, discovery calls, or contact forms
  • Information about your existing marketing setup (e.g., current CRM, ad spend, website platform) shared during onboarding
  • Conversations with our AI chat or voice assistant, including transcripts and, for phone calls, recordings

From Clients (contracted businesses):

  • Business licensing and contact information
  • Billing information. Payments are processed by our payment processor (currently Stripe); we do not store full card or bank account numbers on our systems
  • Business details needed for carrier registration, such as legal business name, EIN, address, and website for A2P 10DLC registration
  • Access credentials or account details for platforms we manage on your behalf (our licensed software partners, Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, etc.)
  • Call recordings, chat transcripts, or reviews used for reputation management and reporting

On behalf of Clients (End Consumer data):

When we build and manage lead-generation funnels, websites, chatbots, or ad campaigns for a Client, we may process personal information about that Client's prospective customers, such as:

  • Name, phone number, email, and property address (e.g., a homeowner requesting a roofing estimate)
  • Details about the service requested (e.g., "roof leak," "HVAC replacement," "window installation")
  • Appointment scheduling and communication history (calls, texts, emails) handled through GHL on the Client's behalf
  • Contact lists the Client imports or syncs into our platform, and conversations with the Client’s AI assistants

Important: For this End Consumer data, we act as a service provider/data processor on behalf of our Clients, who are the data controllers. Each Client is responsible for their own privacy policy and legal basis for collecting their customers' information. If you are an End Consumer and have a privacy question about a specific home services company, please contact that company directly. We will direct such inquiries to the relevant Client where appropriate.

Each Client owns its customer and lead data. When a Client’s Services end, we keep that data available for export for 30 days, after which we may delete the Client’s platform account and its data. Our snapshots, workflows, and other system builds are our own property and are not part of Client data.

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, device, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time on Site, referring URLs
  • Cookies and tracking pixels (see Section 6)

3. How We Use Your Information

For Clients and prospective Clients, to:

  • Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and onboard new accounts
  • Deliver and manage marketing services (SEO, PPC, licensed software partners automation, reputation management, websites)
  • Send performance reports, invoices, and account communications
  • Improve our services and Site
  • Register Client messaging campaigns with carriers and The Campaign Registry

  • Send marketing messages where you have agreed to receive them (see Section 5)

  • Improve our services using de-identified, aggregated data that does not identify any Client or individual

For End Consumer data processed on behalf of Clients, to:

  • Route leads to the correct Client (e.g., a roofing lead to the roofing company that ran the campaign)
  • Run the Client’s AI assistants, automations, appointment reminders, review requests, and follow-ups as the Client configures them
  • Provide Clients with reporting on campaign performance

We do not use End Consumer data collected on a Client's behalf for our own independent marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.

5. SMS Text Messaging

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages about your inquiry, appointments, account, and, if you agreed, marketing offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers) that need it to deliver messages to you.

4. AI Assistants, Call Recording, and Transcripts

Our Site, our phone lines, and our Clients’ websites and phone lines may use AI chat and voice assistants to answer questions, qualify inquiries, and book appointments. Calls and chats may be recorded, transcribed, and summarized, and we or the Client will tell you when a call is recorded. By continuing the conversation, you consent to the recording. Conversations are processed by our software platform and the AI providers it uses to generate responses. AI responses are generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and are not a binding offer, quote, or commitment from us or any Client. When you talk with an AI assistant on a Client’s website or phone line, that Client controls the conversation data.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, tracking pixels, and similar technologies — both on our own Site and, where contracted, on Client websites and landing pages — to:

  • Measure ad campaign performance (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, LSA)
  • Support retargeting campaigns for home services offers (e.g., "free roof inspection" ads)
  • Understand visitor behavior and improve conversion funnels

You can control cookies through your browser settings.

See our Cookie Policy for details. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals; our Site does not currently respond to them.

7. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following categories of providers to deliver our services:

  • Our licensed software partners — CRM, AI chat and voice assistants, SMS/email automation, appointment scheduling, and pipeline management, used both for our own business and, under sub-accounts, on behalf of Clients
  • Telecommunications carriers and The Campaign Registry — for delivering texts and calls and registering messaging campaigns
  • Advertising platforms — Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, Google Local Services Ads
  • Analytics — Google Analytics, call tracking software
  • Review and reputation platforms — for managing Client reviews (Google Business Profile, etc.)
  • Payment processors (currently Stripe) — for billing Clients

These providers may use information only to perform services for us and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

8. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share information:

  • With the specific Client a lead or inquiry relates to (e.g., passing a homeowner's roofing inquiry to the roofing company running that campaign)
  • With service providers supporting our operations (see Section 5)
  • To comply with legal obligations or valid legal requests
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our Clients or their customers
  • In connection with a business transfer, merger, or acquisition
  • With our employees, contractors, and subcontractors who need it to perform the Services and are bound by confidentiality obligations

Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared for third-party marketing (see Section 5).

9. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide the Services, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Client data is handled as described in Section 2. Call recordings and transcripts are kept according to the retention settings of the platform account they belong to. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including access controls on our licensed software partners sub-accounts and Client platforms — to protect information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Much of the information we handle is hosted by our software platform and other service providers on their own systems.

11. Your Privacy Rights

If you are a Client or Site visitor: you may request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting us at contact@contractordma.com.

If you are an End Consumer (e.g., you requested a quote through a website or ad campaign we manage for a home services company): your data is controlled by that company, not us. Please contact them directly, or contact us and we will forward your request to the relevant Client.

Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as defined under NRS Chapter 603A, but you may still submit a request that we not sell your covered information by emailing contact@contractordma.com. Residents of other states may have additional privacy rights under state law. We will honor verified requests as applicable law requires.

To stop marketing messages, reply STOP to texts or use the unsubscribe link in emails.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date. For active Clients, we will give notice of material changes as described in our Terms of Service.
